WHAT ARE THEN THE MAIN CAUSES OF INSOMNIA?
HEAVY FOOD TO BED:When it is about bed time always avoid heavy food which can makes you to encounter difficulties in falling asleep or staying asleep.
INSECURITY:Some people do have this thought of been unsecured, so they always find it difficult to sleep at night. For example,an area that arm robbery is persistent, the people of such area will always be afraid to sleep at night and as for those that slept they will wake up at any strange noise and may as well remain like that till daybreak.
DREAM/NIGHTMARES:Bad dreams is also part of the factors affecting an healthy sleep. Naturally, man thinks things will remain the same way it used to be, so whenever a person had a scary nightmare he/she might think it will continue that way and will refuse to sleep.
ALCOHOL/SMOKE:Alcoholic drinks and smokes are not healthy for human immune system medically, those producing it also said people taking it are liable to death. If at all you are the taking type, you should avoid it some hours away to bed time.
LIGHT:Avoid light either from electric bulb,lamp or any other form because it always cause distraction for people to sleep instead of sleeping they do some other things like reading,chatting,calling,listen to music,browsing and so on.
HYPERSOMNIA on the other hand is a sleeping problem,meaning a person battling with hypersomnia will always finds it frustrating to remain awake during the daylight. Such individual will either be dozing or sleeping all the time,it will be a problem for that person to chat, work or carry out any activity on his or her working hours unlike other people.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES TO BOTH:
Avoid Alcoholic Drinks When It Is Almost Bed Time.
Do Not Eat Heartburn Food If It Is Few Hours Away To Sleep e.g Fried Foods,Citrus Fruit,Spicy Meals,Carbonated Foods etc.
Off Every Light and Make Your Sleeping Environment Conducive.
Do Away With Stimulant substances Before Bedtime.
Create a Bedtime Routine For Yourself.
